Cultus Lake Sailing Club

Welcome to the Cultus Lake Sailing Club on Cultus Lake in British Columbia, Canada.

The Cultus Lake Sailing Club was founded in 1999 by a group of sailing enthusiasts looking to expand their horizons and meet new people who shared a love for the sport. We have all ages, from elementary school age children up to seniors joining us for training clinics and adventures. The mission of the Cultus Lake Sailing Club is to promote the safe practice of the sport, and we offer members the opportunity to challenge themselves and enhance their skills.

To join us, please check out the Contact page for numbers of the key people to call, whether its for lessons or just to join up. We also have an email group for club announcements of upcoming activities and other items of club interest. Please sign up there as well.

We look forward to meeting and sailing with you.

The NOR (Notice of Race) is now posted on the Sockeye Cup 2012 page of the website. More information will follow shortly. If you are interested in attending or volunteering for the event, please contact Chris Carberry, the regatta organizer.

A few highlights for this year: Again, our Sunday Social Days during the summer to hang out and meet club members; We are starting monthly 'Racing Days' where you can come and learn about racing on simple courses, learn some of the basics, but more to get out and sail your boat (or ours) with other people: More Youth and Adult Learn to Sail programs: some great fundraising ideas and of course our ever successful Sockeye Cup Regatta, this year in early June.
Membership renewal forms will be mailed out soon so please get yours filled out and returned as soon as you can.
If you want to come and join us, please check the links on the appropriate pages on the website or contact one of the executive members.

Below is a photo slide show that was put together by Ben Glasgow and was shown at the Fundraising Dinner and at the agm. Well done Ben!
